Eight Ways to Win My Heart
Eight Ways to Win My Heart
I have to say, I really have to agree with this, especially #8. Check it out.

Weather
All I have to state is that I feel sorry for the States that this massive storm actually hit. It was actually harsh enough to hit us, and that very rarely ever happens.
For the past couple of days, we've been off of school. First it was because the snow, which usually brings the town to a halt on it's own since we don't normally get much of it on a regular year, and now it's because of an issue with the electric company. Apparently, people have been using their heaters more. Who would have thought.
It's been nice though, and I've definitely been enjoying the days off.

The Pita Project
Having acquired a delicious bit of hummus, it occurred to me that I had nothing tasty to eat with it. Thus bringing us to this point.
The Pita Project:
I found a promising looking recipe here; http://www.thefreshloaf.com/recipes/pitabread, and have proceeded to begin the process.
I am currently up to the rising stage, and will update this post once we've gotten past it. So far, so good.
The pita came out slightly less puffy than the ones pictured with the recipie, and I think that it's probably because of the yeast. It was a little old. Still, they came out well, not bad for a first try.

On Holidays and Life
I went to a party last night, a Christmas party with munchies, and cider, and a bit of play. We're all a bit of a fan of the juggling scene, and we spent a couple hours outside playing with poi, juggling balls, glowsticks, s-curves, and just having fun. We even filmed a video. I'll upload it here once Raven finishes it up.
I spent most of my time playing with the s-curves, they're kind of fun, and Raven and I plan on making a better pair after Christmas. These one's kept falling apart on me.
I know I've got a Fushigi under the tree, although it's not the glow in the dark one that I wanted. Oh well. It'll be a decent practice ball for now. I will eventually get a good contact juggling ball, if just because Stooshie and Raven make me. Not that I really mind.
My nephew is a handful, and very rambunctious. It should be fun on Christmas morning when he opens up all his presents.
Hopefully they'll entertain him long enough for us to play Lego Harry Potter for the Wii!
I'll try to update after the Holidays, but no promises.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Travel Summary
So, the trip to New York went well, although I was really tired by the time we got done.
We went to the American Girl Store, The Statue of Liberty, Central Park, 5th Avenue, and a few other little places. It was a blast, and I got to ride in a limo on the way back to the airport. I can't wait to go back.

Travel Update.
So, we made it to Denver without too much trouble, and now we just have a few last minute details to take care of. Mostly packing. We're only taking carry-on's so it kind of limits what we can take.
Still, it aught to be fun. Our flight leaves at 8:20, but we're going to be up a whole lot earlier. Like 5 o'clock earlier. :( I really don't like getting up early, but I have a can of Coke with my name on it, so hopefully I won't be too snarky. No guarantees.
I'll update when I can. Love you all.
